"Great stop in Saranac Lake! I ordered the Saranac Brewery Blueberry Blonde Ale beer and a burger. Everything was delicious! I wanted to mention how kind and attentive the waitress was despite how busy they were on a holiday weekend. Overall great experience and would definitely stop by again!"

"Yum! Downhill Grill was exactly what I didn't even know I needed. The sandwich board outside said 'Fish Fry Special' and I was sold. The fish was perfectly crispy fried on the outside, and piping hot on the inside. Not over cooked either. I was surprised to learn they had dolce leche for dessert, and it was perfect! Caramel and milky cake with caramel yogurt balls and whipped cream. The prices were very reasonable, and the service was so friendly without being overbearing. If I visit Saranac lake again, this will be my go-to!"

"Food was fantastic it just took quite awhile to get it. Ordered a burger with onion rings, burger was perfectly cooked, onion rings were crispy and delicious. My husband got the Tuscan turkey sandwich which was also great. Cajun fries were as expected, lots of seasoning with a kick! Would have taken photos but I was so hungry by the time we got our food that I just dug right in. *Update 8/2024: I ordered a chicken burrito and my husband got the Texan sandwich. Service was much quicker this time and the food was just as delicious. The burrito and sides was just way more food than I can eat unfortunately, but I did my best. My husband let me take a bite of his sandwich and it was fantastic. I would definitely consider ordering that instead next time. One of our favorite places to eat in Saranac."

"This place was a nice to grab a bite in the cold weather. The atmosphere is rustic and homey. The service is top notch. I got the sizzling fajitas. They came out nice and hot, but it came with one huge tortilla which made it a little difficult to eat, wish it came with smaller multiple tortillas. However, it was still a nice meal. Dawn was our server and she was great!"

"First time visiting the town and had our first meal here. We definitely made a smart decision, everything was wonderful! The atmosphere is welcoming and cozy for a cold winter night, staff is super friendly. I ordered the beef pepper sandwich with sauces on the side. The serving size is huge and I finished it all cuz it's that good!! The bread is toasted perfectly and beef is so tender that it just melts in my mouth with the cheese. What a great dining experience! Highly recommended!"

"The waitresses are wonderful and checked on us every now and then. She recommended the honey garlic wings and I asked for extra crispy; they were out of this world. I inhaled the entire dozen; well, I did spare 2 pieces to my wife. But no more. Everything is reasonably priced. Excellent customer service. I only waited 10 min while touring the river walk. By the time, I came back from the walk, the table was ready."

"Actually really love this place but if you guys don't have a larger to-go container for your yummy French onion soup, you probably shouldn't allow bowls to be purchased for to-go orders. I've ordered a cup before and this is the same exact amount. I feel duped"
